CHILI ORANGE DARK HOT CHOCOLATE

Lewis Road Creamery Fresh Chocolate Milk

Dark Chocolate Block

1/8 teaspoon Chili Powder (to taste)

Orange Slice - dehydrated or fresh

 

FRENCH SPICED HOT CHOCOLATE

Lewis Road Creamery Fresh Chocolate Milk 

Lewis Road Creamery Organic Single or Double Cream

1/4 teaspoon Vanilla Extract

French Spice Mix: Cardamom, Star Anise, Nutmeg, Ground Cinnamon, Cloves, Cinnamon Quills (to taste)

Cocoa

 

HAZELNUT & GANACHE HOT CHOCOLATE

Dark or Milk Chocolate Block

1/4 cup Hazelnuts (Chopped or Whole)

Method


CHILI ORANGE DARK HOT CHOCOLATE

1. Heat Fresh Chocolate Milk in a pot on the stove on low heat.

2. Melt dark chocolate in either microwave or stove top on low heat.

3. Pour dark chocolate slowly into heated Fresh Chocolate Milk and stir until smoothly mixed.

4. Add a pinch of Chili Powder to taste and stir until mixed.

5. Pour into beautiful glass of your choice.

6. Garnish with dehydrated or fresh orange slice, according to preference.

7. Enjoy on a chilly winter day! (Pun not intended...)

 

FRENCH SPICED HOT CHOCOLATE

1. Heat Fresh Chocolate Milk and spices in a pot on the stove on low heat. Stir occasionally.

2. Remove from heat, cover, and let steep for 20 minutes.

3. Put back onto low to medium heat.

4. Add vanilla and extra cocoa if you're a big chocolate lover! Bring to a simmer and whisk until blended.

5. Strain hot chocolate into a cup or bowl, discard spices.

5. Whip fresh Organic Cream to dollop on top, and garnish with star anise, cinnamon quills, chocolate shavings, and any other desired delicious toppings.

6. Enjoy by the fire!

 

HAZELNUT & GANACHE HOT CHOCOLATE

1. Heat Fresh Chocolate Milk in a pot on the stove on low heat. (Stir in 1/2 teaspoon vanilla or extra cocoa if desired.)

2. Place Cream in a pot on the stove top on a medium heat until bubbles start forming around the edge of the pot. Remove from heat and add the dark or milk chocolate to the pot and stir until well combined.

3. Drizzle melted chocolate ganache into glass and around rim.

4. Chop hazelnuts if needed, and sprinkle around rim.

5. Pour heated Fresh Chocolate Milk into glass.

6. Enjoy a delicious winter treat!
