Our Letters

Free Falling

Hi Team.

Well aren't we on the most exciting ride!

Our team is brilliant at growing together. We're becoming quicker, snappier, and more effective at refining our processes as a united body. Sometimes, the process means spontaneous creative problem solving that doesn't fit into standardised "steps". Other times, steps are steps; and it's satisfying to trust a structured path that leads to tangible results.

We're engaging with our customers and consumers in ways we weren't able to before, and better. Lewis Road is one of its kind, setting an exceptional precedent, and one of our fortes is a fearless nature to get in the thick of it. Our team is comprised of big thinkers who are hungry to engage - in whichever form it may take. Face to face, a friendly voice, warm words on Facebook, welcoming constructive feedback, or by showing our respect for those who stand out as customers or collaborators. We can go that extra mile, so we need to continue exemplifying what it means to be the best.

Some of you think I'm crazy, but I love falling. Out of planes, attached to a bungy cord. The feeling of complete, unadulterated, unhinged freedom comes from taking a huge risk and removing the familiar ground from underneath you.

You're scared shitless. You can try to psyche yourself calm, act cool as a cucumber, right up until that moment of blind truth in which you prove what you can and cannot do. It's snakes in your stomach, gut wrenching.

But then,

You fall.

Falling is moving, and moving is living. If you fall on your face, at least you're moving forward. Time refuses to stop, no reason why we shouldn't too.

Or, you may fly. Stripping our ground and sky of their parameters unveils an entirely new, and potentially enlightening, viewpoint. It's one thing to dream up lightning strike ideas, and an even bigger accomplishment to sit down and do the dirty work to make it happen.

And us? We're brilliant at both. Bring it on.
